The deli owner even warned us of the seagulls (which we thanked her for), however, we felt we completely understood… We have plenty of seagulls where we live. They’re very bothersome and they love to wait around you while you’re eating and pick up any crumbs that you leave behind. If you leave your food unattended, then it’s gone. BUT, these Italian seagulls are a different variety! They are quite bold and they literally circle above you and then dive to get your food AND they have excellent aim! Our sandwich was delicious and each one turned out to be 7 Euro which is equivalent to about $12 Canadian per sandwich! Thank goodness we bought two and a cookie to share! 🤣 @venice.explore
