The history of the system that made me and many others kids at the time realize that gaming was something more than dots on a screen (looking at you, Atari 2600) and that Nintendo was more than just your average company. Back then, if you were frustrated with a game, you could write in to Nintendo and game play counselors like Kirk Starr would write back and give you advice.
